Anne Stearns, DDS, MD, is a dual-degree, board-certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon at Advanced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, a long standing and trusted practice serving the Denver Metro area for years. Originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming, Dr. Stearns discovered her calling early—first inspired by medical dramas like St. Elsewhere and later while working as an oral surgery assistant in high school. She went on to earn her B.S. in Health Administration and Policy from Creighton University, followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry, where she received multiple honors and developed a strong interest in Oral Surgery.
Her advanced training continued at Emory University in Atlanta, where she completed a six-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery while also earning her Medical Degree. Dr. Stearns is dedicated to delivering advanced surgical care through a compassionate, patient-first approach, integrating the latest advancements in the field. With extensive training in both dentistry and medicine, Dr. Stearns brings comprehensive, modern perspective to the diagnosis and treatment of complex oral conditions. Her expertise includes Dental Implants, Wisdom Teeth Removal, Bone Grafting, Facial Trauma, Pathology, Cleft Palate, and Orthognathic or Corrective Jaw Procedures.

Dr. Stearns has medical staff privileges at Presbyterian St. Luke’s, Rocky Mountain Children’s Hospital and Sky Ridge Medical Center. She is a member of the craniofacial cleft lip and palate team at Rocky Mountain Children’s hospital.
Outside of the office, she enjoys exploring Colorado’s outdoors, traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with her partner, Tim.
