Meet Dr. Anne Stearns, DDS, MD

Originally from Cheyenne, Wyoming, Dr. Stearns is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon who discovered her calling early—first inspired by medical dramas like St. Elsewhere and later while working as an oral surgery assistant in high school. She went on to earn her B.S. in Health Administration and Policy from Creighton University, followed by her DDS from Creighton University School of Dentistry, where she received multiple honors and developed a strong interest in oral surgery

Her advanced training continued at Emory University in Atlanta, where she completed a six-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery while also earning her Medical Degree. During this time, she gained extensive surgical experience in dentoalveolar procedures, dental implants, bone grafting, facial trauma, reconstructive and orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery, and oral pathology. She also completed a General Surgery internship with rotations in trauma, surgical critical care, plastic surgery, head and neck surgery, and pediatric surgery.

Dr. Stearns has medical staff privileges at Presbyterian St. Luke’s, Rocky Mountain Children’s Hospital and Sky Ridge Medical Center. She is a member of the craniofacial cleft lip and palate team at Rocky Mountain Children’s hospital.

Outside of the office, she enjoys exploring Colorado’s outdoors, traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with her partner, Tim.
